Clarice Assad - Humanities Speaker Series

Join us for a musician performance by Clarice Assad: Brazilian-American musician, composer, performer and music educator. Assad is a grammy-nominated virtuoso who plays piano, violin, and sings in styles ranging from Baroque chamber music to French chanson to jazz and scat. 

Carefully crafted colorful textures echoing the musical culture of Brazil mixed with global and historical influences permeate her work. 

Clarice Assad will visit Valencia’s East campus on Feb. 6 for master’s classes with music majors and perform the evening of Feb. 7 in the PAC.
