About this Event
Valencia College was selected to host a group of distinguished guests from the Philippines in partnership with the U.S. Department of State’s Community College Administrator Program (CCAP). The program consists of a six-week rotation around Florida’s public higher education institutions. It focuses on providing higher education administrators from post-secondary vocational and technical institutions in foreign countries a better understanding of the U.S. community college system.
During their three-day visit, program participants immersed themselves in Valencia’s International Education Week celebrations, and visited the Walt Disney World School of Culinary Arts, Accelerated Skills Training (AST) Facilities, and West Campus’s 3D Printing lab. To conclude the program, the delegation had a chance to spend time with Dr. Plinske to discuss common leadership strategies and institutional challenges.
