Cross-Cultural Awareness and Infusion in the College Classroom - This workshop has been rescheduled.

Please check later for the new date.

The college classroom is a diverse environment, and students come to us with many different belief and value systems.  This 6-hour workshop will provide faculty with an overview of the cultural diversity found among students in the community college.  Participants will explore culture from multiple perspectives and learn how to better understand and engage students with diverse backgrounds.  They will also share teaching strategies, learning activities, and assessment methods to build a more inclusive learning community both inside and outside of the classroom.
