The program begins with a specialized orientation program called the Advanced Manufacturing Specialist Certificate (AMSC). This 2-day overview gives each particpant the opportunity to learn more about the Advanced Manufacturing industry as well as the various career opportunities and training pathways available (currently Electronic Board Assembly, Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Welding, and Mechatronics). Particpants will also be taught critical components of the manufacturing industry such as Safety (OSHA) and Workplace Essentials.
Each training program ranges from approximately 7-23 weeks in length. Classes are Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., depending on the training program selected.
