An Evening with Iron Eagle

The evening with Iron Eagle launches our week-long Conversation on Justice. Plan to hear drumming, chanting and story around the fire as we learn about the medicine wheel and honor  our inherent interconnectedness.

Iron Eagle is a traditional Sun dancer who studied under Bear Paw (Apache Medicine Man) & Two tree (Lakota Medicine Man). His grandfather and mother, both Chiricahua Apaches, taught him the Traditional and Spiritual ways of the Native Americans. Join us for teachings, music and dance as we come together in community to prepare for our conversations on justice.

Bring a blanket, lawn chair or something to sit on as we will be outside in the Mall Area of East Campus. Bring a flashlight If you have one and wear comfortable shoes for walking. Dress warmly. Children and families are welcome.

The event is free and open to the public.
