Join us for Valencia's Banned Books Week/First Amendment Day event on Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 11 am-2pm on the East Campus mall. Valencia clubs and community organizations will be there to champion the first five freedoms and to discuss the dangers of censorship.

In addition, there will be an essay contest (with prizes), trivia contest (with prizes), a presentation on "Maus" (a graphic novel about the Holocaust) from English faculty members.

Don't miss protest-song karaoke, food, and lots of giveaways!

Finally, if you can't make it to East Campus, you can still participate in three virtual panels (all on Zoom) for all faculty, staff and students. Go to the LibGuides link for Zoom links.
