This course 20-hour course is the second part of the STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM LEADER CERTIFICATE. Participants will learn how to plan and prepare for a short-term study abroad program through the office of Study Abroad and Global Experiences (SAGE). Faculty will design a study-abroad course with learning outcomes, activities, and assessment methods and complete an initial draft of the Short-Term Study Abroad Proposal. This course entails 8 face-to-face hours and 12 hours of homework. Participants must submit a completed proposal packet, program itinerary, and program provider proposal in order to receive credit.
