Valencia College held on to the number 5 ranking in the annual Institute of International Education (IIE) Open Doors report published in November 2023. The Open Doors report includes international enrollment and study abroad data from U.S. higher education institutions from the previous year's fall semester. Valencia College hosted 1,448 international students in the fall 2022 semester from over 100 countries. This is one of the largest populations of international students at a U.S. associate granting institution. Overall international student numbers at associate granting institutions grew by 7.2% while overall enrollment at U.S. colleges and universities grew by 11.5% in the fall of 2022.
