After a three-year hiatus, the Study Abroad and Global Engagement (SAGE) Office is sending students on faculty lead programs again. The 2023 cycle began with a successful International and Regional Foods Course to the Czech Republic. Chefs Steven Rujak and Kenneth Bourgoin took nine students to partner institution, Střední škola for an 11-day program. They explored Czech culture, history, and cuisine. On their return they hosted a luncheon to present what they had learned to members of the Culinary Department, SAGE Office, and Community Partners.
