This event is only open to first responders, fire, police, and corrections.

UCF RESTORES and the Valencia College School of Public Safety invite first responders to attend this workshop. Dr. Debroah Beidel from UCF RESTORES will present information about the latest treatment protocols and other services that are available to assist first responders and others who have been effected by PTSD.

This year the Inclusive Excellence Speaker Series will focus on the important discussion of ACEs - adverse childhood experiences, toxic stress and healing. The topic is relevant for ALL members of the Valencia community and for many fields, especially, and not limited to the social sciences, allied health, nursing, first responders, legal, faith, and criminal justice. We hope you will join us for these important events. For a TED talk that helps explain the topic and the impact on community wellness watch this.
