Registration for the STEM Summit 2020 hosted by the Central Florida STEM Alliance on April 3rd is now open. This STEM conference will involve participants from local colleges including Valencia, Polk State College, Daytona State College and College of Central Florida and will be taking place at Valencia College West Campus. This will be a great opportunity for students to meet and network with STEM professionals and learn more about academic opportunities, research experiences, and internships.
Our keynote speaker Dr. Hakeem Oluseyi - astrophysicist, inventor, author, TED Talk extraordinaire, science educator and more - confirmed to share insights and advice for students from his own STEM journety thus far.
Professor Stanton Reed will serve as MC and have confirmed representatives from Walt Disney Company, Siemens, the City of Orlando, Orlando Matic, NASA, NOAA, The Nature Conservancy, UCF, UF, FAMU and more.
Students will want to register by March 2nd to receive the early-bird rate of $8. After this date, the price will rise to $10; Lunch is included as well as transportation, departing from East and Osceola locations.
