The Community College Initiative (CCI) continues to impact our community in a positive way. CCI students have volunteered over 1,000 hours of their time! They continue to support local organizations and raise awareness for the international community.

In November of 2022, three students, Nagita Valencia, Fnu Edwinnata, and Fnu Prandwinata, participated in the popular Fusion Fest cultural fashion show in the first-ever representation of Indonesian culture.

During the week of January 8th through the 13th, CCI students went to Washington, DC to meet their fellow participants in the program and attended a tour of the White House.

On Saturday, January 14th, CCI students walked in the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade to promote peace and equality for everyone. They represented their individual countries while educating youth on the importance of treating everyone fairly. The students also met Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, who extended an invitation to have lunch with him.
