Study Abroad & Global Experiences (SAGE) hosted four Hubert Humphrey Fellows on March 27th - 31st, 2023.  The Humphrey Fellowship Program is a Fulbright Exchange that builds connections between U.S. and foreign leaders. Fellows are hosted for one year at U.S. universities with an opportunity to visit a U.S. community college. Their programs focus on impact areas such as Human and Institutional Capacity, Rights & Freedoms, Sustainable Lands, and Thriving Communities. Valencia College hosted fellows from Niger, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.

The Fellows agenda was busy with campus tours, meeting with the Global and Continuing Education administration, the Provost of West Campus, Dr. Danny Hoey, the Talent Acquisition Manager from the Hyatt Regency Orlando, and V.P. of Talent & Community Development.  They also had the opportunity to volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank’s “Mercy Kitchen.”
