On March 22, 2023, Valencia College and University of Central Florida signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Minister of Education and Sport from Aruba, Endy Croes, with the goal of fostering sustainable collaborations.

Valencia's agreement was for general international collaboration, and the possibility of creating a future addendum which includes a limited number of scholarships for Aruban students. We believe that this MoU will benefit not only Aruban students in Florida but also strengthen the bond between the two regions.

The Minister Plenipotentiary for Aruba in the U.S., Joselin S. Croes, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Orlando, Patrick C. Willemsen, and the Deputy Consul General of the Consulate in Miami, Luuk Nijman were present at the occasion.
