Susan Frith worked for years as a news reporter and magazine editor before turning her focus to a fictional world of daring balloonists, bicycling dogs, beautiful radium workers, and Shakespeare-quoting swans. Her short stories have appeared in various journals, including The Briar Cliff Review, Cleaver, Sycamore Review, and Zone 3, and one of her recent pieces has been selected to appear in The Best Mystery Stories of the Year 2022. She has just completed a novel about a lactation consultant swept up in a cult.
