The Osceola Campus will observe Women's History Month with a special exhibit in the Gallery (Building A) and the Atrium of Building 2 during March. The exhibit features interpretive panels from the National Museum of American History and the National Women's Museum. Exhibit panels tell the stories of important women across American history and give a timeline of the women's suffrage movement. Visitors will have an opportunity to listen to audio recordings of important women in the past century and to see artifacts that tie the past to issues related to gender in the 21st century. The exhibit opens with a free ice cream social for the Valencia community starting at 11 a.m. on March 8. The exhibit will be viewable from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Thursday, through March 31.
